Don't get me wrong: I've never been a typical girl about it. I don't want or generally LIKE flowers, chocolate or stuffed animals. I find holiday themed items to be a waste of space and money. Not to mention tacky. (Well, I guess I just mentioned it.)
This is not what it's about. I'm a serious supporter of loving fiercely on a daily basis and letting the important people know - OFTEN - how much they mean to me. And like birthdays and anniversaries, I'm not opposed to having an extra day a year to do something a little more special. Not to give gifts, mind you, but just to DO something nice for someone. I try to do this year-round but like most people, I get caught up in myself and sometimes need a reminder.
I'm the first to admit that most of the things here are more like my typical Monday afternoon than V-day but hey. I'm the type of person that will do something with or for a person instead of acquiring things (except for that ram's heart. Which would look spectacular on my mantle. Hint, hint.)
I mean really, what's more fun? Being given a stuffed bear with a box of chocolates or being given a bath with Mexican chocolate soap?
I'm just saying.
